The proximity in the difference is the leitmotif of the Sara `s Magaiez and my research. Despite our different origins, we both have warned the need to investigate our respective cultural origins. The exhibition space hosts suggestions from two distant worlds: on the one hand you will immerse yourself in the Arab world, on the other side in the Slavic one. Tunisia and Ukraine, different contexts but not entirely.

In the artistic research of Sara Magaiez, traditional elements such as Hijab, tattoos with henna, calligraphy and Islamic architecture are investigated.

 My research is based of using poor materials like jute and ground bags. The use of embroidery and the sound of folk songs recall the Ukrainian tradition.

From this sensitivity originates the performance that will take place on the day of the opening, during which Sara and me will interact with each other by dialoguing in our respective languages.
